Went to church with Dave and Randi, lunch was served after the service in honour of the Pastor’s wife’s birthday. The lunch was provided by volunteers, nothing better than real home cooking, lots of variety and of course, a large birthday cake topped of the meal. I really have to learn to travel with a camera all the time, some of the valleys along the route were so pretty with the dogwoods in bloom, white flowers dotted among the Eastern Redbud which are still blooming with the dark pink/mauve colour.
We spent the afternoon visiting, the boys shooting their bows and working on Woody’s bow, there is some issue with the vanes tearing off. We had dinner at the Rice home, after dinner Woody and Dave discussed the bow situation, they decided a trip to the Archery shop was in order so tomorrow he will take the bow to a good archery shop in Hancock. Another great day, very relaxing spent with good friends and a beautiful sunny day.
The ramblings of our life as RVer’s camp hosting in Alberta, Canada and travelling to Arizona for the winter with some pics and history of some areas we have visited.
