May 12th and 13th

Rain, rain go away and do not come back another day (at least for a while)! Woody accompanied Dave to the candle shop and gave him a little help completing an order of candles. Woody has learned how to pour the wax while hanging out with Dave at the shop previously; Dave mixed the colour, prepared scent mixtures, and added the wicks, etc., making candles is an art, not just a process! They returned late afternoon from the shop, the weather started clearing up Monday evening, and they spent some time practicing with their bows.

Dave took a couple of shots.
Woody shot this one after he and Dave did some more tuning up on the bow, he was happy!
Dave had been teasing Woody about having pieces of granite in his head for a few weeks, so his comment after Woody’s good shot was “man you finally got those two pieces of granite rubbing together and created a spark eh!”, we all had a good laugh.
May 13th.
Dave and Woody headed out in the morning for the last chance at a turkey, no luck once again, just not in the plan for this trip! Leaving for the trip back to Alberta tomorrow, trying to get our heads wrapped around the thought of leaving, just cannot believe our time here passed by so quickly!
