We slept in today, no turkey hunting this morning as Dave was working. Woody spent some time catching up with his email, did some shopping, and then made us a brunch including Morel mushrooms. I spent time catching up on email, since the upgrade that Hughes attempted last week our email is still not working properly and we have not received the backlogged emails which according to the notice on their website was supposed to happen May 1st. Hope we did not miss any important, urgent email, Ah well, just a small glitch in the big picture of life. Dave arrived home late afternoon, he wandered over for a visit a little later and invited us over for BBQ deer steak and shrimp we supplied the potatoes!
Doug and Carrie (son and daughter-in-law) were at Dave and Randi’s so we had another visit with them.
The chef at work!
Are you drooling yet? Yeah it was delicious!
A major rainstorm came through, dumping huge amounts of water in a short time we were dry and comfortable sitting in the carport, visiting and watching the rain pound down after dinner. The creeks will be flowing high once again in this area!
The evening passed very quickly and too soon, it was time to amble home, check out our favourite chat room and head to bed.
The ramblings of our life as RVer’s camp hosting in Alberta, Canada and travelling to Arizona for the winter with some pics and history of some areas we have visited.
