Yes! another exciting day

Another warm and sunny gorgeous day, Woody took the truck in at 8:30 am, had a squeaky belt, nothing serious, replaced the belt, the belt tension mechanism did not require replacement he then continued to the city to run a few more errands. I spent time learning how to transfer VHS tapes to DVD, always a learning curve when using new equipment. When he returned, we both watched some of our old home VHS tapes, interesting to watch and surprising to realize just how much one forgets details and certain events. What a treasure it is to be able to transfer our memories on DVD to enjoy. I am sure one day the DVDs will need to be transferred to new media with technology advancing as quickly as it is, hopefully that will be our kids worries eh.We had our interview this evening for the work camp position, YES we have the job, great opportunity for us; free site with full hook ups plus wages. We will prepare to move to our new home on Friday. This position will is also for next summer and if we choose for many summers to come. For us this is huge bonus, campgrounds here are so expensive and very few available, as I have mentioned in a previous post. Returned home and shared our exciting news with our friends online. Tomorrow we will approach the owners of our present campground for a refund as we pre-paid to September 30th. Our new home at Imrie Park offers many bonuses for us, besides the obvious financial savings, more privacy, hiking trails, close to fishing, an archery and gun range for our use, no extra charge, the quiet of country living, closer to our family, shopping and the all important Laundromat, lol! We are so excited and pleased to have found this opportunity, thanks Allen!
