Another busy day

Well today is packing day for Woody and checking his list twice, this is the last day before leaving on the big trip to Africa. We will be up at 1:30 am for the trip to the airport on the first leg of his journey. Woody will spend time with friends in Colorado until June 7th before boarding the flight to Dulles Airport with friend Huck, who is also going to Africa. Oh yeah he is wired for sure and I cannot blame him. We both had an appointment for a much-needed haircut, stopped for dinner at one our favourite restaurants in Spruce Grove after our haircuts and a catch up visit with Shelley who has cut our hair for more than 10 years now, a super nice young woman who now owns the Salon, bought it this year. We came home, sat outside for awhile, Woody loaded his bow and large suitcase after checking once again, making sure he had not forgot anything important, put his important papers in the pocket of his oil slick, along with his passport and flight tickets. We are sure that everything is in order now, we log in to our favourite chat room in hopes that we can relax a bit chatting with friends so we can sleep. We had a good visit, Woody bade goodbye to our friends and we logged out early, then we both chatted for a while still not really wanting to go to bed and at the same time knowing we should for tomorrow would be a long day.
